The Palais des Congrès de Paris is at the heart of the Porte Maillot Exhibition Centre in the 17th arrondissement. Designed by architect Guillaume Gillet, and opened in 1974, it hosts multiple professional events and shows throughout the year. The shows take place in the largest of the four auditoriums in the Palais des Congrès de Paris, which has seating capacity for 3,700 people. Concerts, musical comedy (from Starmania to Robin Hood) and other shows are held here, whilst the other areas and conference rooms host conventions, conferences, and trade shows such as the business ownership transfer show.

More than just a concert venue, the Palais des Congrès de Paris, managed by Viparis, also has a shopping centre. Just a few steps away, the night moves to the rhythm of one of the biggest discotheques in Paris, the Palais Chaillot, which is also located on-site.
