A masterpiece from the 16th century, the Ecouen Castle has conserved an important part of its original décor: painted chimney, sumptuous ornamental tiles, ceilings and friezes… The Castle also houses the rich collections of the National Renaissance Museum, featuring furniture, ceramics, tinctures, glasswork, stained glass windows, silverwork, paintings, arms and tapestry. One of the most beautiful tapestries represents The Story of David and Bathsheba. |
